Precision Construction played a critical role in the $65 million transformation of UL Lafayette’s football stadium, the most significant upgrade to the facility since its original construction in 1971. Our scope included self-performing all deep foundations and cast-in-place vertical concrete work, totaling approximately 20,000 cubic yards, executed within a live, high-visibility campus environment.
The west side renovation introduced premium amenities that have elevated the game-day experience for Ragin’ Cajuns fans. The project added 34 luxury suites, 40 loge boxes, 524 club seats, an indoor club area, and five new chairback sections in the lower west bowl. The modernized stadium now seats over 30,000 spectators and stands as a landmark project for both the university and the Lafayette community.
Working on an active campus required precise coordination, strict safety protocols, and minimal disruption to daily university operations, challenges our team navigated successfully while maintaining an aggressive construction timeline.
